AIG Travel Guard offers plans
When it comes to travel insurance plans, AIG Travel Guard has a few different options for travelers. Its Essential Plan offers the best coverage, but is most affordable. It will cover 100% of the trip's cost if it is cancelled, delayed or canceled because of an event covered. This plan also covers medical expenses.
AIG's most comprehensive insurance plan, the Deluxe, offers coverage for up $150,000 in case of trip cancellations and interruptions. It also offers $1,000,000 in emergency medical evacuation. It also reimburses delayed baggage expenses up to $200/day.

The coverage level

Travel Guard's base plan includes cancellation and disruption coverage, as well basic post-departure protection. The coverage is adequate but not complete.
